“Local Edition” is a 5-minute, community-interest newscast produced by Freelancer Productions for Charter Media. The program airs at 24 minutes past each hour via CNN Headline News on Charter Cable in the Cadillac, Manistee, Ludington, and Traverse City, MI areas.

“Local Edition” focuses on feature stories about local groups, interesting people, and community events in Northern Michigan. A unique aspect of “Local Edition” is that different versions of the program air in different Charter Cable zones, so Traverse City viewers will see content focusing on their community while the Cadillac/Manistee/Ludington newscasts cover stories of interest to those areas.
